Come along and learn about a hassle-free way to turn food waste into compost on-site in only 24 hours so it can be used to grow new produce. This is a great opportunity for significant producers of food waste to learn about urban gardening and regional grower opportunities to promote waste reduction and sustainable food production.
Tom Eadie (Boathouse, Palm Beach) will be there to talk about his experience with sustainable food practices and closing the loop on food waste with a Closed Loop organics system. Sustainability specialist Michael Mobbs will talk alongside David Leslie (Closed Loop) on the Bondi Gobbler project and opportunities for local community involvement.
