The contract will be delivered by Closed Loop’s UK operations. Site Services Operations Manager, Steve Hunter, adds; “We’re delighted with the strong partnership we have developed in a relatively quick time with Tough Mudder. This has been achieved through a commitment of delivering what we say we will deliver, to quickly build trust as a responsible partner. In only 3 months we have proven our worth and can now service Tough Mudder’s UK business to the same level.”
Closed Loop has a very experienced site services and cleaning division, having managed diverse projects from the Sydney Olympics, key festivals (e.g. the Reading Festival) and venues across the world. This division has been greatly bolstered by the recent merger with Douglas Site Services.
Closed Loop has realised over many years in operation that full engagement with all service providers is required to truly effect positive environmental change at site and Closed Loop’s UK Director, Peter Goodwin, views the addition of Site Services as a key strategic move for the business “The ability to work closely with the right people on the ground to assist with material recovery at the point of generation is a huge positive and strengthens our ability to work with customers to deliver their sustainable event management objectives.”
